Grant Hernden (B.P.H.E., B.Ed., CPTN-CPT) established Lifestyle Fitness & Sport over 12 years ago and has designed strength and conditioning programs for many professional athletes and sports teams. His clients included NHL players Boyd Devereaux, Mark Bell, Jonathan Cheechoo and Greg DeVries. In the past two years, Grant has expanded his services to include adults and children.
Diane Hernden (B.P.H.E., B.Ed., CPTN-CPT) is co-owner of Lifestyle Fitness & Sport. Her passion is to provide a holistic approach to fitness by incorporating effective exercise, healthy eating and stress management into clients' lifestyle to improve general wellbeing. She sees a range of clients - from the young to the older population, from the athletic to the recreational exerciser.
She has recently been certified as a Cancer Exercise Specialist. She provides lifestyle programs aimed at lowering the risk of cancer, as well as exercise for cancer patients undergoing treatment and those who have finished treatment. The aim is to achieve positive emotional balance and increased feelings of physical wellbeing.
Brad Hernden (Can Fit Pro) specializes in providing creative and realistic ways of achieving quality health and fitness to young athletes, with a focus on improving athletic development and youth participant-based conditioning. Mastery of proper technique is the critical motivational force in all of his programs, and his learning environments are highly positive, respecting safe and effective means of developing injury-free, emotionally sound, and functionally gifted participants.
